It's About a Calling…and Love

A Note From the Owner:
 I first want to thank Doug and Jackie Harris who started LuvPup Pet Sitting and Dog Training in 2000.    If it weren’t for Doug and Jackie I wouldn’t be in this business.  They worked hard to establish such a successful and caring business where clients see us as family.  I worked with them since 2016 as a pet sitter after my job as a contractor for the Army as a Transition Counselor ended.  For the first time in my life I was unemployed, so I was going to pet sit part time until I found a full-time job.  I wanted to be able to use my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Masters in Counselor Education.  However, after pet sitting, I had no desire to go back into my educational field.  I love animals and that will never change.
I grew up always having a love for animals.  I had beagles as a child, cats as a young adult and my first dogs as an adult were Rottweilers.  I currently have a Bullmastiff, a Cane Corso, 2 Basset Hounds, a Maine Coon and an orange tabby.  I have also had many frogs, fish, rabbits and reptiles.  I can’t imagine my life without any animals.  No matter how many animals I see in a day I still get excited when I see one in the car next to me or going on a walk with someone.  This is my calling.
